BIO:
Karen White is a residence of Kansas City, Kansas.  She is passionate about creating art that seems to come to life as she expresses her unique talent with the world.  Her works of art depicts emotion that captures a moment in time with monochrome and vibrant colors.

PROJECTS:
Illustrations, Fine Art, Portraits, Graphic Art, Murals, Chalk Drawings, Logos, Websites and anything that deals with creativity is her passion.

MEDIUMS:
Acrylic, Pastels, Black Chalk, White Chalk, Graphite, Color Pencil, Pyrography, Oil and Oil Pastel.

RELATED ACTIVITY

• Workshop in conjunction with the Nelsons Atkins Museum of Art and one of the artist in their garden.
• Create a 10’ x 20’ mural at Bartle hall depicting their different events
• Various art workshops with “YouthFriends ”, “StoryTellers, Inc.”,and “Boys and Girls Clubs of Greater Kansas City,”.
• Illustrations and cover for a book by Leo Sams called “The Good King and The Light of Miracles”. 2012
• Commissioned by Arts & Soul Inc. to create a portrait drawing of the internationally acclaimed jazz pianist Jay McShann and was a featured artist for the Classic Black Gala.
